SMURFIT CARTON DE VENEZUELA CONVERTS TO MARSDEN

Pennsauken, NJ - Marsden, Inc. announced today that it has been contracted by Smurfit Carton de Venezuela to replace its current gas infrared drying system. The application to be delivered in mid-August is for drying following a wet stack and three separate coating stations on 100% recycled coated paperboard.

According to Mr. Marcello Gil, General Manager at the Valencia, Venezuela Mill, “After much review, we felt the Marsden system gave us the best opportunity to improve the quality of our operation and enhance overall machine efficiency”.

The installation expands Marsden’s growing presence in South America and reflects the company’s global commitment.
