MARSDEN LAUNCHES NEW EMBEDDED COMBUSTION™ IR EMITTERS

Pennsauken, NJ - Marsden announced today that it is releasing for general sale to industrial users and OEM's its new Embedded Combustion™ gas infrared (IR) emitters. According to Thomas M. Smith, President of Marsden, "Embedded Combustion™ is a process where combustion of the gas/air premix initiates 1/8" within the emitter's outer face, while in the presence of thousands of ± 5-micron diameter refractory fibers per in2. The Embedded Combustion™ IR emitters provide up to three times the IR output per unit of fuel gas input normally found in sintered or knitted metal fiber IR emitters. In addition, the emitters produce no NOx or CO emissions."
